POLITICS - US Airways pilot Chesley B. "Sully" Sullenberger and his family are going to the presidential inauguration of United States President Barack Obama.The hero pilot landed his crippled aircraft safely in the Hudson River this past Thursday, saving the lives of over 150 passengers and crew See: 150 Survive Jet Crash.The Sullenberger family left for the East Coast on Sunday and headed for Washington where they will meet up with the husband and father of two daughters. Mrs Sullenberger and the couple's daughters haven't seen him since he's been hailed as a hero for saving the lives of all 155 on board.
Its rumoured Barack Obama may promote the hero pilot to the role of piloting Air Force One.
