Google's expansion into the telecommuting business is sure to be profitable. Google is already the #1 search engine, the #1 source of streaming videos (thanks to owning YouTube) and #1 source of internet advertising.

Better yet the service will be free... (Free internet? Impossible!) Which begs disbelief because you have to wonder how this will become profitable and doable. We will just have to wait and see. Google is apparently working with content providers to make this Google TV a hybrid of television and the internet.
Sony said last week it has agreed to have Google TV on its new television sets and Samsung says it is also thinking of offering Google TV on new TV sets.
Meanwhile Apple is planning its own Apple TV product, but it will (surprise, surprise) only be available on Apple products. But frankly Apple products are becoming lame.
Meanwhile Google Music is also on the horizon, allowing mp3 downloads (for a price) and music sharing.
