Conservatives 36%, down 2%
Liberals 25%, down 2%
NDP 25%, up 4%
Bloc Québécois 9%, holding steady
Greens 5%
If elected to a majority government Stephen Harper would finally be able to unleash his full power and start radically undermining Canadians by privatizing everything from health care to education, while simultaneously increasing military spending, building more prisons and turning Canada into a police state...
In other words, make Canada more like the USA.
And do so while continuing to receive kickbacks from Alberta's oil industry.
This could also spell the end of the NDP and the Green Party. Far too many Canadians are throwing away their votes on the NDP and Greens and this could spell disaster. Its true, many of the NDP and Green voters will end up voting Liberal at the last minute, out of fear of a Harper majority, but will it be enough to prevent it?
If a Harper majority was put in power, Canadians will be left with no other option 4 years from now. They will HAVE TO vote Liberal in order to put an end to Harper's corruption and tyranny.
What is silly is how this government was thrown out of parliament on charges of corruption and is now dangerously close to winning a majority just because of leftwing vote splitting. Without vote splitting the Liberals would have 55% and easily win a majority government.
The online survey used a sample of 2,032 Canadian adults took place April 15 to 16 and the margin of error is plus or minus 2.2%, 19 times out of 20.
NOTE: According to Elections Canada 41.2% of Canadians didn't even vote during the last federal election. In 2006 35.3% didn't vote.
Its estimated that 45% of Canadians won't vote during the May 2nd 2011 election. Possibly because they're so upset with the current system and don't think their vote matters.
"People who don't vote get the horrible government they deserve." - Charles Moffat, Canadian artist and activist.
