However, that is not going to stop us from seeing it in the movie theatre.
You see downloading a movie has plenty of problems, the chief of which is:
#1. Bad quality picture.
#2. Cropped picture.
#3. Subtitles in Swahili (WTF?).
#4. Poor quality sound.
#5. Mislabeled files (you could accidentally download the wrong movie or porn).
#6. People walking in front of the bootlegger's camera within the theatre.
Like us, fans of Wolverine (or superhero movies in general) will still be going to see the movie in the theatre. Its a matter of quality and wanting to see it on the BIG screen. There is nothing like being immersed in a film.
If you're not looking to see a particular film, do what you normally do... wait to watch it on TV, the movie network, rent it, borrow it, download, whatever you usually do. If a film looks blah or nothing special, not much point in seeing in the theatre.
But for a film like Wolverine, which we are dying to see, its worth it paying to see it in the theatre.

THE NAPSTER EFFECT
Downloading music and movies is here to stay, thanks to the Napster Revolution. There is a now a variety of free downloading-trading programs online which people can swap movies, music, pictures, programs and now that the cat is out of the bag, there is no putting it back in.
But there is a key difference in quality. True, you can download music... but it pales in comparison to seeing a concert. Big screen or a stage will always be superior. Its like seeing live theatre or a comedian on stage.
The one thing Napster-like programs does excel at, is television shows. The quality is roughly the same as TV, but the advantage is that you can watch your favourite TV show without the commercials, and you can watch shows that aren't even on TV any more (ie. Dallas, M.A.S.H., 'Allo 'Allo, etc).
