But while you eagerly await part one and part two (or maybe you hate Harry Potter altogether) there is also a slew of other films you might want to go see.
November 10
Morning Glory
Starring - Rachel McAdams, Harrison Ford, Diane Keaton
Plot - A television producer tries to fix an ailing morning-news show by settling the feud between its anchors.
Our Comments - Totally want to see this just because Harrison Ford is in a comedy role.
November 12
127 Hours
Starring - James Franco
Plot - A young American hiker gets trapped under a boulder for 127 hours.
Our Comments - Hmm. The trailer starts off with a bicycle, but then it all goes to hell. Potentially good, potentially awful.
Skyline
Starring - Eric Balfour, Scottie Thompson
Plot - Alien ships appear over Los Angeles and begin sucking people up like a giant vacuum cleaner.
Our Comments - Umm... so how are they supposed to fight back in this War of the Worlds scenario? If this ends with the aliens dying from a bacteria virus or a computer virus being uploaded and destroying the mothership then you should ask for your money back.
Unstoppable
Starring - Denzel Washington, Chris Pine, Rosario Dawson
Plot - A train engineer and a conductor try to stop a runaway train filled with hazardous materials from destroying a city
Our Comments - Don't you hate when the trailer gives away the whole plot and even the ending?
November 19
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1
Starring - Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Ralph Fiennes
Plot - Harry Potter and his two best friends hunt for the Dark Lord's horcruxes so he can be defeated in the final battle between good and evil.
Our Comments - If you don't know who Harry Potter is go watch the first 6 films already!
November 24
Burlesque
Starring - Christina Aguilera, Cher, Kristen Bell
Plot - A young girl from Iowa travels to Los Angeles to become a star in a neo-burlesque club.
Our Comments - Rather sleazy. Hollywood is just trying to cash in on the latest sex fad. First it was pole dancing, now its burlesque. Cher should be ashamed of herself.
Faster
Starring - Dwayne Johnson, Billy Bob Thornton
Plot - A beefy ex-con goes on a revenge spree to avenge the murder of his brother and the body count stacks up in a hurry.
Our Comments - Americans sure love their revenge movies. Its no wonder most Americans believe in an eye for an eye.
Love and Other Drugs
Starring - Jake Gyllenhaal, Anne Hathaway
Plot - A sexy romance between a free-spirited young woman and a pharmaceutical salesman who introduces Viagra.
Our Comments - Lets ignore the fact that this is really just a big ad for Viagra. The rest of the movie looks like a nice romantic comedy... although we should note the trailer gives away the ending. Oh well.
Tangled
Starring - Voices by Mandy Moore, Zachary Levi
Plot - A young thief mistakenly hides in Rapunzel's tower and introduces her to the world outside.
Our Comments - Aladdin remake essentially. Chalk up another Disney Princess on the wall.
November 26
Made in Dagenham
Starring - Sally Hawkins, Bob Hawkins
Plot - A group of female machinists at a Ford plant in the U.K. fight for equal pay for women.
Our Comments - Probably deserves an Oscar or two. Definitely a must see.
Also in November:
Kisses
Plot - Two kids run away from home and have a series of misadventures.
Monsters
Plot - Giant mutant-alien monsters rampage on land and sea.
Waste Land
Plot - An artist and people who live in the world's largest garbage dump create art.
