Stephen Harper lies during leadership debate

CANADA - If you go to the CBC website and watch their highlight reel of last week's leadership debate you can clearly count the number of times Stephen Harper lied (or misled people) during the debate.

Kudos to Gilles Duceppe who poked fun at Stephen Harper for taking a question from a citizen — via video — for the first time in the campaign. (Harper has only been taking questions from the media, and limiting them to 3 per day. He has been avoiding the public entirely, afraid they will ask tough questions he is unable to answer.)

Kudos to Jack Layton who pointed out Ignatieff and many of the Liberals kept abstaining during 70% of votes because they didn't want to support Harper's policies.

Kudos to Michael Ignatieff who pointed out Canadians don't trust Stephen Harper and that Harper's government hasn't earned a majority and certainly doesn't deserve it after cooking the books and lying to Canadians.
