AUTOMOTIVES - 2009 is almost over (heck the decade is almost over), but what were the best cars of 2009? Its very difficult to gauge which are the "best", but these are some favourites.

2009 Tata Nano - 33 hp for $2,200 (all prices CDN).

2009 Mazda3 - 148 hp for $15,995.

2009 VW Jetta TDI Wagon - 140 hp for $23,195.

2009 Mazda MX-5 (Mazda Miata) - 167 hp for $28,995.

2009 Nissan 370Z Coupe - 332 hp for $39,998.

2009 Hyundai Genesis - 375 hp for $43,995.

2009 Jaguar XF - 300 hp for $61,800.

2009 Rolls-Royce Phantom - 453 hp $440,000.

2009 Bugatti Veyron Bleu Centenaire - 1,001 hp for $1.4 million.



2009 Aston Martin One-77 - 700 hp for an estimated $1.7 million (prices haven't been released yet). The One-77 will be very lightweight compared to the Veyron and the release date is believed to be December, although this may be delayed.
