Stephen Harper a coward says mainstream media

CANADA - The mainstream media in Canada called Stephen Harper a coward this morning no less than 12 times. The Prime Minister of Canada went to Governor General Michaelle Jean and begged her to prorogue parliament until January so he could avoid a non-confidence vote on Monday December 8th which would have overthrown his minority government and replaced it with a stronger coalition government.

Michaelle Jean agreed to prorogue parliament, which means Canada will have to wait until January to see if we will either have another election or get a coalition government.

If Harper can change his budget enough to satisfy opposition parties he might be able to stay in power, but he will have to flip flop on a lot of issues the Liberals and other parties want met.

That means Harper will have to increase spending on creating jobs and boosting the economy, something he has failed to do thus far, in an effort to win Liberal support. If he doesn't win Liberal, Bloc or NDP support Canada will again be faced with either going back to an election or having a Coalition government.
